What Is the STEAM Wheel?
For over 12 years, students in grades 3–5 at Benicia Unified School District have participated in something truly special: 15 weeks of hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning, led by local professionals and community partners.
Each student rotates through three different STEAM classes, each lasting five weeks. These engaging experiences include topics such as robotics, computer programming, dance, visual and performing arts, chess, and more — opening doors to new interests, skills, and passions.
