Bobbie dedicated much of her career to the Functional and Health Food Industry, starting in 1983. From 2004 to 2014, she worked at CytoSport, a notable manufacturer of sports-oriented nutritional products, famous for its Muscle Milk protein supplement line. During her tenure as VP of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, she was responsible for managing FDA compliance and regulatory affairs, as well as facilitating the brand's international expansion. She was instrumental in CytoSport being honored as California Corporation of the Year. The company was acquired by Hormel Foods in 2014 and later by PepsiCo. After the acquisition, the Pickett family, founders of CytoSport, ventured into the food flavor manufacturing industry. Bobbie played a key role in transforming the former CytoSport 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Benicia into a cutting-edge flavor development company. In 2019, the Pickett family re-entered the functional beverage market, launching a plant-based energy drink incorporating functional ingredients like Ashwagandha, Lion's Mane, and Green Tea Caffeine. Born and raised in San Francisco, Darrell has lived in Benicia for over 25 years with his wife Grace and their children, Isaac and Alana. Darrell believes in being active in his community and enjoys volunteering his time with local organizations and events. As his children attended the schools in Benicia, Darrell was a board member of the PTAs at Matthew Turner, Benicia Middle School, and Benicia High School, as well as a board member of the Benicia Education Foundation. In the sports arena, Darrell was a coach for the Benicia Little League, the City of Benicia Basketball program, and both the Benicia recreational Soccer league and Benicia Arsenal FC. In addition, Darrell served on the Board of Benicia Arsenal FC as Vice President and subsequently as President. He is still involved with the Club as a referee.
